American Life verses Japanese Life

I want to make a blog post on a subject that I hold so dear to my heart. Yes, I would love to visit Japan; however, there are some things that I do not like in Japan.

Here are some good examples of what I am talking about. There is censorship in Japan. Here in the USA, we have our First Amendment right. For those outside of the USA this means that we have Freedom of Speech. We can talk about Politics whether or not we like what is going out. If we are against it then we can openly say that we do not like what is going on.

In Japan, if you do not like something, then it is smart to keep your mouth shut. Certain members in Japan our jealous of our right to speak against the government because they are not allowed to say what is on their mind. They are not allowed to speak against other people. They hate people who are open on what they do not like and not afraid to speak about it.

On the downside to America. You do not have a vending machine around any corner with lots of stuff. In fact, most people in the United States have convenience stores. Plus, if you go to one then you have to pay a conveneince store tax on items. Plus, the arcades in Japan are totally awesome. This is why I would love to travel there.

However, the chances to go to Japan is something that is not going to happen. The Japan culture are the most interesting things. Even though I am not a big fan of some of the cuisines. For the most part, the people who lives in Japan are extremly nice. You do have the few people who are jealous of American life. I know a few of those bad apples.

The food in the USA is extremely different than Japan. For example, North Carolina BBQ is something that I have tasted. It is Vinegar, Pork, Pickles and Black Pepper. I personally am not a big fan of the food. However, I love Prime Rids with St.Louis Rub on it. These sort of dishes are only in America. American Foods are mostly out of the ballpark.

Most Japanese people do not like American dishes because Americans add Sugar to the food. However, quite a bit of our other dishes that are bold does not have sugar. The dishes are extremely flavourful. Many Japanese people who have tried our bold food love it. I have personally ate quite a bit of Japanese food in the states and love the unique blends. However, we do not love certain Japanese versions of American foods.

Here is why I would love to visit Japan.

  1. Arcades
  2. Vending Machines
  3. Looking at the Japanese Culture first hand.
  4. Seeing some of the sites in the Spring when the Cherry Trees Blossoms.

Would like I want to live there? I am unsure. I would not be happy in a country where I can not speak freely. In the below article, I have spoken about the risks of speaking out in Japan. This is my thoughts and opinions.

Have a nice day.
